    Inspired by nature and designed with care, IONIQ incorporates innovative material choices throughout the cabin. These include recycled PET bottles and fishing nets, responsibly processed leather, and interior paints featuring plant-based extracts, creating a refined and modern driving experience.

    Spend less time plugged in. The innovative multi-charging 800V battery system delivers some of the fastest charging times possible today – adding 336 km of range in just 15 minutes in the IONIQ 5 and even 426 km in the IONIQ 6.

  3. Parametric Pixel design

    Discover the beauty of the pixel - Parametric Pixels – a signature design element that all IONIQ vehicles share. They are the crown jewels of IONIQ 5’s distinctive LED headlamps with their 256 cubic pixels.

The name IONIQ combines “ion” and “unique” and was first introduced with Project IONIQ. The first IONIQ vehicle followed in 2016, offering three electrified powertrain options: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric. Today, IONIQ is dedicated to Hyundai’s new generation of electric vehicles, bringing together distinctive design, innovative technology and electric performance.
